ARTIST PROFILE

 

My name is Lyndy Monopoli, I was born and raised in Christchurch but I have travelled and lived in several countries and it is great to explore and experience different cultures.

    I have passion for past events and how they have shaped our present, this combination of art and history is evident in some of my paintings.

I am a late starter, but after experimenting, I have settled on water based oils as my preferred medium.

I find that art has the power to take you to another place, the creative process suppressing all else but what you are feeling and creating
